SHIPPING

If not noted Free Shipping, shipping charges range between 16 to 25 % depending on the size, weight, carrier and type of delivery, over and above the price of your total purchase.  Your shipping price is based on your entire order as long as it is delivered to one place. We use some of the finest shipping companies in the business; FEDEX GROUND, UPS, for small items and others ground freight carrier companies for larger items and our White Glove In-Home Delivery Service.

 

DELIVERY

  • In general, orders are shipped within 7-14 business days of receiving full payment. Please note that some items may take longer.
  • If an item is out of stock, you will notified and you will be given an approximate date when item is expected to ship.
  • In-Home “White Glove” delivery that includes inside delivery, placement of items in room of choice, light assembly, and cutting up the cartons and other packaging materials for your trash disposal. Please contact us for additional fees.
  • The freight company will contact the customer in advance to schedule time of delivery. This service can range between 3-6 weeks depending on your area.
  • Freight companies will only give a time slot for delivery which is usually 3 to 4 hours, or sometimes it can be during business hours with no specific time.  You will have to make arrangements to receive the package or have someone at your home or business to receive it on your behalf.
  • If your address is not accessible by the delivery truck, we will arrange for the transport of your merchandise to the nearest accessible point, and it will be your responsibility to provide transportation from that point to your destination.
  • If a freight company is asked to make another delivery attempt, an extra delivery fee will be charged.

ACCEPTING MERCHANDISE:

 Prior to signing off your freight bill, it is your responsibility to inspect your packages and boxes from the outside for any visible damages, dents, dings, holes, rips that could have occurred in transit and have all comments noted on the freight bill at the time of delivery.  Please verify the number of boxes you received matches with the number of boxes on the freight bill. During delivery if in doubt call (800) 970-7305 x5 Failure to note damages on the freight bill will absolve the shipping company of any responsibility if a damage claim is submitted at a future date.                                                                

"White Glove” Statement.


Sun Delivery is an expert in "white-glove" home delivery throughout the United States. We provide these premium services to the largest retailers and manufacturers nationwide. Our specialty is in home delivery of furniture. Sun Delivery carries all liability insurance necessary to conduct an inside delivery.

"White-Glove" Home Delivery Services Include:

  • Scheduled delivery appointment with customer
  • Trained and uniformed delivery teams
  • Pre-delivery inspection (except bed rails)
  • *The shipment will be brought into the home, unpacked and set up in your room of choice (Includes up to 45 minutes of minor assembly)
  • Up or down 1 flight of stairs.

*Sun Delivery will ask the customer to clear the area between the entryway and the room(s) in which they would like the furniture placed, as well as, the room itself be cleared out prior to our arrival. We also ask the customer to measure the pathways, stairways, etc. to make sure the furniture they have ordered can be easily placed into the location they choose. We require 3" of clearance on all sides of the furniture in order to make the placement without risk of damage to the customers home or furniture. This is communicated to the customer during the confirmation with the customer.

  • Sun Delivery is not / cannot attached mirrors, pictures or chandeliers to walls or ceilings.
  • The placement of shelves is the customer’s responsibility.

  • During the inspection process, the delivering Sun driver is present for the final inspection, complete blanket wrapping of each piece, and loading onto the truck.

  • Sun has restoration craftsmen that are full time employees and can handle all levels of restoration including marble, leather, upholstery, glass, and intricate finishing.
  • At Sun Delivery, each shipment is handled only once as the truck loaded at our origin warehouse is the same truck delivering direct to the consumers’ home.
  • All trucks are monitored through GPS and two-way radio communications at all times.

Sun Delivery
is a renowned leader in in-home furniture delivery. We provide the quickest delivery times of any blanket wrap carrier in the industry. Our shipments are delivered on-time, and more than 99% are claim-free.

Sun Delivery transports your order directly from the manufacturing facility to the Sun Delivery distribution centers for pre-delivery preparation.

The furniture is then stored in one of two Sun Delivery’s facility. Our newly implemented bar code system ensures that for the brief time your furniture is stored at Sun prior to shipment, it is kept in a clean, well organized warehouse, thereby minimizing damage and loss.
Sun Delivery controls the movement of the order from door to door. This eliminates the risk of damage by improper handling and loading.

Sun Delivery removes the packaging, inspects, and deluxe every piece BEFORE delivery. This avoids “surprises” that would have been exposed to at time of delivery.

Most damage to furniture occurs in transit, where improperly protected, unsecured or improperly loaded merchandise can shift causing damage. Sun Delivery will blanket-wrap the order for the safest transportation possible to your home.

Sun Delivery provides a delivery window. The day before delivery Sun’s Customer Care staff will call with a four hour window and upon request, will provide a same day half hour or one hour call to alert the customer that the driver is on his way.

Our professional and polite uniformed drivers are fully trained to provide exceptional customer service. Our delivery teams are experienced in the movement of furniture and how to install furniture. Likewise, our customer service representatives are available seven days per week to meet customers’ special requests and to update any changes to delivery times. Customers can also access delivery information online to know the exact status of their furniture orders at all times.

Sun Delivery has more than doubled in size in the past three years and we now have working relationships with more than 100 furniture manufacturers.
