Security

All personal information sent to our site, including online credit card transactions, is processed via a secure server using Secure Socket Layering (SSL) encryption.

SSL provides endpoint authentication and communications privacy over the Internet using cryptography. In typical use, only the server is authenticated (i.e., its identity is ensured) while the client remains unauthenticated; mutual authentication requires public key infrastructure (PKI) deployment to clients. The protocols allow client/server applications to communicate in a way designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.

SSL involves three basic phases:

Peer negotiation for algorithm support

Public key encryption-based key exchange and certificate-based authentication

Symmetric cipher-based traffic encryption

You will note that the “http” in your URL address bar will be replaced with “https” indicating that you have entered a secure area.

Your browser may also indicate to you that you have entered a secured area.

Email is not encrypted and is not considered to be a safe way of transmitting data via the Internet.
