Jason Phillips

The third generation to carry on the family business, Jason Phillips, fresh from his Magna Cum Laude degree in Industrial Design from the University of Michigan, has recently joined The Phillips Collection as a designer and management trainee.  With long-standing personal knowledge of the company and its goals, he embodies both the past and the future of his family's business.

For the April 2006 High Point Furniture Market, Jason has created a series of distinctive new designs, incorporating a wide range of techniques and materials.  The clever “Silhouette” series of tables and vases has already attracted a great deal of attention.  The future looks bright.
