![]() | Lo JordanAccomplished and award winning sculptor Lo Jordan is a valued contributor to the Austin collection. Specializing in realistic sculpture, his equine and children studies capture all the detail and emotion quality that only an extensive art education and life experience in the art field can create.Lo earned his graduate and post graduate degrees at Columbia University School of Painting and Sculpture in New York. Receiving a Fullbright Grant, he studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and the Universite d’Aix-en-Provence. Living in St Paul de Vence, France for a period, Lo apprenticed at a studio duplicating tile designs of Henri Matisse for the Chappelle de la Rossaire in Vence. Lo’s work has been exhibited at numerous sculpture group shows in the US and France. His sculptures are in many private and corporate collections including Lockheed Martin, Bellhaven College, MS, the US Cavalry Museum, Fort Riley, KS. Commissions include a life size memorial for the Flower Mound Liberary in Texas. Lo’s other interests include the history of the American Indian.
